The Kiwanis Club of Birmingham, the world’s largest and most influential Kiwanis, annually selects business leaders who have exemplified strong leadership and made extraordinary contributions to the Greater Birmingham area for induction into its Birmingham Business Hall of Fame. The 500-plus members of the Downtown Kiwanis invite the community to attend the ceremony to be held at The Harbert Center on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 22, at 5:30 pm.
The Birmingham Business Hall of Fame, founded in 1997 by the Downtown Kiwanis Club, recognizes business leaders who have shaped and impacted our community. The 550-plus members of the Club have had the privilege of honoring the most influential men and women in the city for more than 20 years. The 2019 Inductees are:

- John McMahon, Ligon Industries
- Kate Nielsen, Community Foundation of Greater Birmingham
- JB and Charles Schilleci, Supreme Beverage Company
It is our honor to host you at the induction dinner and ceremony Thursday, August 22, at The Harbert Center, located at 2019 Fourth Avenue North in Birmingham. The evening will kick off with wine and beer served in the lobby starting at 5:30 pm followed by a seated dinner beginning at 6:45 pm in the Beeson Hall and ending around 8:30 pm. Dress for the night is business attire. The night of the event we will offer complimentary valet parking.
Kiwanis Club of Birmingham members will receive complimentary admission to the event. We encourage Kiwanians to bring their spouse, friends, and colleagues as their guests to the event. Guest tickets are available for $50. We also have reserved/corporate tables seating eight which may be purchased for $500.
