Lighting up Vulcan like never before
Thanks to Kiwanis, Vulcan is now the most prominent visual in the Birmingham night skyline. A multi-million dollar upgrade to the lights reflected on the statue make him more prominent than ever. Debuting with the Fourth of July celebration from Vulcan, a dynamic, multi-colored light show set to music thrills spectators each and every weekend.
Famous Lighting Designer
Kiwanis teamed up with world-renowned lighting designer Marc Brickman who has designed the concert light shows for Pink Floyd for 39 years, has designed the lighting for Opening Olympic Ceremonies for 2 separate Olympics (including Barcelona), and has been designing dynamic light shows for the Empire State Building for the last five years. Marc is truly world-wide, “Best in Class” in designing dynamic, LED color light shows.
