Panel Discussion Focusing on Keeping Our Schools Safe Featuring AEA President, Local Superintendents and Former NRA President

Who?               Kiwanis Club of Birmingham, the world’s largest and most influential Kiwanis Club

 What?             At the July 24 Kiwanis luncheon, the Club will host a panel discussion entitled “Keeping Our Schools Safe:  Identifying, Preventing, and Dealing with Active Shooters.” Moderated by Kiwanian and Attorney John Saxon, the panel will feature:
• Dr. Craig Pouncey, Superintendent, Jefferson County Schools
• Dr. Kathy Murphy, Superintendent, Hoover City Schools
• Sherry Tucker, President, Alabama Education Association
• Chris England, State Representative from Tuscaloosa
• Jim Porter, Birmingham attorney and past National President, NRA

 When?            July 24, 2018: Luncheon begins at noon with panel discussion beginning at 12:15
