The Kiwanis Club of Birmingham is the largest Kiwanis in the world and one of the oldest civic service organizations in existence. The Club attracts professionals who are leaders in their respective professions, and influential men and women not just in the local community but throughout the world. World Class Speakers & Programs Each Week

Our 550-plus members meet weekly at The Harbert Center where speakers of the highest caliber address timely and relevant topics during the luncheons. Recent speakers include Tom Brokaw, Cokie Roberts, Lamar Alexander, Susan Page, Condoleeza Rice, and Joe Scarborough.

Other speakers have included Joint Chiefs of Staff, Commandants of the U.S. Marine Corps, best-selling authors, presidents of national universities, sports icons and Olympic gold medalists. We have also hosted the CEO’s of many great companies including GE, Shell Oil, AFLAC, Avis Budget Group, Deloitte Touche, and BBVA Compass.

Networking

The weekly luncheons offer members and their guests opportunities to network with fellow attendees. In addition, the Club routinely hosts after-hours networking and social events.
